CaiRex

So, UiTM Seremban has organized the event called CaiRex. (Career Fair)

Well, to be honest, I have a high expectation for this event. But it turns out really disappoint me. Compared to the other Career Fair that I have attended so far, Cairex itself is the worst Career Fair. Yeah, it's not that I'm not appreciating about what the university has organized but hey come on. If you wanna make some event, please really make sure, it is GOOD for students or this is the OPPORTUNITY to sell your students to the industry itself.

There are 18 companies. (only)
And among all of these companies, there's only several that open their booth to expose about their company. And the others just conducted the interview thingy.

When I'm talking about the interview, I'm really surprised when they do a 'WALK-IN INTERVIEW'. Like I said, my expectation is high. I imagined the real interview like there are 3-4 panels sit in front of us and we just sit alone in front of them, anxious about what they gonna ask. Current issues, knowledges, about the company itself and etc etc. But NONE of that happens. My friend who is attending the interview said " kitorang borak-borak. "

And what do you mean about borak-borak, not formal at all. I wonder is it UiTM students special case.

I did post something in the group. Something like " Sedih gila tengok Cairex."

Then it really shocked me when some of my friends did angry and did say " eh okay je. "
I have no idea which part is okay. But I assumed this is the first time they join the Career Fair. (maybe)

My friend which angry said " This is the good opportunity to attend the interview and to open our eyes about the real world. "

Girl, you are so wrong. The way they conducted the interview seems like we apply for position 'promoter, rider, and etc'. Which part is exactly you think gives you the point about the real world.

UiTM itself is a largest university in Malaysia.

And in my opinion, this CaiRex 2015 is a failure for Kampus Seremban.
They just should invite more develop company,  make a bigger event and provided bigger space. And conducted the interview like a REAL interview.  If they really want to help their student, they should think further.

Oh yea. Apa yang paling aku terkejut.

" Amik kos apa? "
" Sains Math. "
" Pandai-pandainya student UiTM. "

(and I wonder they offer what position actually. Maybe cashier? )

HAHAHA.

Seems like I can't be positive for this aspect. Cruel Amoy. Bad Amoy.

I don't ask you to agree with me. But sometimes you need to argue. Tak ke gitu.
