My previous post regarding the interview for internship placement gain a lot of response from the community, especially the Top Glove Interview session. I'm glad at last what I wrote about gave some benefit to those who read about it or give some ideas how exactly the interview ongoing.
During my job hunting, I received some feedback that required me to attend the interview for the job offered. For fresh grad out there, please and please do not lose hope. Believe me, if you received an interview invitation, you are actually are doing good. The rest all about your luck either you did very best or someone is beat you. Either of that, it doesnt matter actually. The experiences that you gain is a valuable one. So, you need to find your weakness or do the best for the other interview. Simple as that, right?
So, Aeon Credit is the second company that called me to attend an interview. The interview scheduled at 9.00 a.m. I went there by using public transport. To be honest, if you googling about the Aeon Credit HQ, which is in Menara Olympia, you will see it is quite nearer with the Bursa Saham Malaysia. But, trust me, in my opinion it is quite far actually from the Plaza Rakyat to Menara Olympia. You need to cross the road and the weather was so hot and I feel like " Oh my God, exactly I need to go to work everyday like this? "
I arrived on time, 9.00 a.m. What make me feel flabberglasted is because wow so many people came for an interview. During my arrival, I am the 12th candidates. So basically, they will give you some form about 6 pages for you to fill-in.
Yeah, there are some Mathematics calculation, and the normal question " In 5 years from now, what you see yourself " (sort of like this) I think for this position is about 20 person came for interview. At first, an interview session is one-to-one, but when there are too many people came, it became two-one session.
Finally it's my turn (around 11.30a.m.), I came into the room with the female candidates (UNITEN bachelor).
" Okay, we start with you, Fizlah. Please introduce yourself. "
....
To make it short, there are two questions that what makes me to let this position go.
" Basically, credit assessment can be divided into two. The vacant position required you to contact the customer and ask them about some particular information. One day you required to call about 200 customer (example), if you can't achieved the limit required, you need to do a over time maybe until 9.00 p.m. So, are you comfortable to work until night? "
" No. " (hell yeah I stay in Rawang. Rawang to Menara Olympia required about two hours lol)
" Are you comfortable to contact people to ask them about the private information ? "
" NO. " (mahu hari-hari kena maki. hahaha" )
By answering No, No, so I know this job not suits me.
Nevermind because the salary offer also is not so high/good.
That's all from my experiences.
